According to Dan Gordon, a UCLA study suggests meditation and other mindfulness strategies may reduce the likelihood of relapse for certain people struggling to break their addiction to stimulants including cocaine and methamphetamine. Mindfulness training has shown to be particularly beneficial for those addicted to stimulants who are also diagnosed with depression or anxiety.
